The TO GROUP (Transport Overseas Group), headquartered in Bremen and with offices in Antwerp (Belgium), Potsdam/Berlin, Bilbao (Spain), Dubai (UAE) and Szczecin (Poland), is strengthening its team at the end of the year and making important structural changes for the future from 1 January 2024.

From 1 December 2023, Matthias Wagner will take over as Managing Director from Christian Weber, who is stepping back from day-to-day operations.

„Matthias Wagner‘s many years of experience in the logistics and forwarding sector and his previous position as Managing Director at D. Heinrichs Stauereibetrieb make him the ideal candidate for this position,“ explains Tim O. Oltmann, CEO of the TO Group.

As COO, Matthias Wagner will manage the day-to-day operations and drive the expansion of the TO Group in Bremen and the other European companies. He will also be responsible for personnel management. Soeren Hosang (CFO) and Sebastian Kozak complete the management team.

Christian Weber will join TO Global Holding GmbH as Managing Director on 1 January and, together with Tim Oltmann, will form the Management Board, which will increasingly focus on the strategic expansion of the entire group of companies, its associated companies and the construction of the new company headquarters in Achim.

In addition to the personnel changes, the subsidiaries Transport Overseas Shipping GmbH and Transport Overseas Logistics GmbH will be merged. The two operating units will trade under the name of Transport Overseas Group GmbH from 1 January 2024.

„The merger will streamline internal and external processes, create more transparency, sharpen our integrated logistics portfolio and strengthen our market position,“ Oltmann added.
